Project Status: Through our summer school project, we support Gazan children evacuated to our country due to the occupation in adapting to their new lives in Türkiye.

As Islamic Relief, we have been conducting active humanitarian relief operations in Gaza for many years.

We are now bringing this deep field experience to our Gazan families who have arrived in Istanbul due to war and displacement.

We deeply care about ensuring that our children's education processes are not interrupted after the severe traumas they have experienced.

We improve their academic skills while simultaneously offering professional contributions to their cultural adaptation processes.

Summer School Project Details

We aim for the children to start their new school terms in Türkiye as prepared as possible.

We provide practice-oriented Turkish lessons that will accelerate their language development under the guidance of expert instructors.

We support our children in grasping human, religious, and social solidarity values.

Through sharing workshops, we lay the groundwork for them to build a strong sense of belonging, far from selfish feelings.

We work to alleviate the psychological effects of the difficult displacement process they have experienced.

We help them regain their childhood joy through cultural trips, theater plays, and interactive games.
