Qurbani Blessings Reflected on Millions of Faces Across 3 Continents and 31 Countries

As Islamic Relief, we are proud to have successfully delivered your Qurbani sacrifices to those in need across the globe this year, standing as a tangible symbol of kindness and solidarity. With the utmost care and transparency, we have delivered the trusts of our donors to vulnerable families in marginalized geographies, bringing them hope and comfort.

Through our global efforts, more than 610,000 Qurbani shares were collected. Thanks to this tremendous act of solidarity, we carried out slaughtering and distribution operations in 31 different countries across 3 continents, spanning Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

Kindness Packed in 5 kg Blessings

From the remote mountainous villages of Afghanistan to the refugee camps in Yemen, and from drought-stricken Ethiopia to vulnerable families in Türkiye, we reached tens of thousands of families in need. The highly nutritious, fresh meat packs were meticulously prepared in 5-kilogram packages under strict hygienic conditions.

The pure, heartwarming smiles on the faces of millions of people—many of whom only have access to meat once a year—were the greatest testament to the profound value of your donations. In total, nearly 3.5 million individuals experienced the true joy of Eid with Qurbani blessings gracing their dinner tables.

Our Operations in Türkiye and Sharing the Eid Joy

As Islamic Relief Türkiye, we have also placed a special emphasis on our domestic relief activities. Combining the strength of our global network with our local field experience, we facilitated the slaughtering of more than 1,100 Qurbani sacrifices in Türkiye. Thanks to our meticulously executed distribution workflows, we successfully delivered Qurbani meat to over 20,000 families across the country.

Without a doubt, children are the true heart of Eid. Driven by this awareness, we went beyond meat distributions to take steps that would brighten our children's holiday. As Islamic Relief Türkiye, we gifted festive Eid clothing and presents to nearly 200 orphans and vulnerable children in Rohingya camps, across Africa, and within Türkiye. Seeing them wake up on Eid morning with brand-new clothes was the most beautiful reward that made all our efforts worthwhile.
