A 2-month season full of knowledge, good morals, and brotherhood has been completed
The Summer School, organized by Islamic Relief Türkiye over a 2-month period, concluded with an enthusiastic closing ceremony. In the program where Palestinian children from Gaza hosted in Türkiye received education, students successfully completed a period full of kindness, useful knowledge, and unforgettable memories.
Throughout the 2-month summer school process, children were provided with general subjects such as mathematics and Turkish, as well as special courses like values education. At the closing ceremony, students staged the choreographies and performances they worked intensively on during this term. Furthermore, a special exhibition was held to showcase and introduce the handmade products crafted by the children and families.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to our donors supporting our summer school, our devoted teachers, our students and parents who made our program meaningful, and all our volunteers.”
Following the screening of introductory films, Islamic Relief Türkiye Chairperson Kehriban Parspancı and the Summer School Coordinator evaluated the process and expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed.
Poetry recitals like "I Saw Masjid al-Aqsa in My Dream", alongside original choreographies and performances prepared over 2 months, received great admiration. The theater play "A Day in the Classroom" was also watched with high interest.
An interactive Percussion Workshop was held with Fazıl Karagöz from the Ministry of Culture Orchestra, followed by the traditional Karagöz and Hacivat show.
Visitors explored the special exhibition featuring handmade crafts. After the Children's Choir and dabke show, plaques were presented to supporters, and certificates with gifts were given to children.
“Be generous with your children and give them a good upbringing.”
