This component aims to improve livestock productivity and strengthen livestock-based livelihoods through technical support, monitoring, and targeted productive asset assistance.

The project will work closely with local veterinary services and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective technical follow-up and monitoring. Livestock performance indicators, including animal health, productivity, and reproductive outcomes, will be regularly monitored throughout implementation.
The intervention builds on existing agricultural and livestock activities already practiced by beneficiaries, increasing the likelihood of sustainability beyond the project period. By combining productive asset support with continuous technical guidance, beneficiaries will be better positioned to maintain and improve their production systems independently.
The project promotes inclusive participation by ensuring equitable access for refugee and host community households, women, older persons, and persons with disabilities. Selection criteria and support mechanisms will be designed to remove participation barriers and ensure that assistance reaches the most vulnerable households while strengthening social cohesion within target communities.
